Purchases
We’ve tried to make this process as easy as possible. All you have to do is have a look round our easy-to-use shop, add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your shopping just click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to able to complete your order.

We can only accept credit and debit card payments online. We also accept cheque payment by post. Cheques should be made payable to The Allotment Shop.

We accept all the major credit and debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Maesto/Switch, Visa Electron and Solo.

Initially you will receive a confirmation of order email which lets you know we have received your order. However, if an item is out of stock or an item is no longer available we will send you an email with the relevant details before any orders are processed further.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will inform you by email and place an order advising of the estimated delivery time or offer an alternative product. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you wish.

Tax Charges
Orders made from the UK or the European Union are subject to a 15% VAT charge.

Online Security and Credit Card Encryption
We take online credit card fraud very seriously indeed and therefore use the latest technology to ensure your purchases are 100% safe. We only use PayPal and Google Checkout to process your credit card details through their secure processing gateway. When the order is placed, all credit card numbers and details are encrypted using the latest encryption technology. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS HELD BY US AFTER AN ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
